One of 'cute animal islands' of Japan, Okunoshima is within short distance from Hiroshima, and inhabited by lots and lots of tame rabbits. Inconspicuous, it is actually a lovely getaway destination if you're looking to escape reality for a few days. It's clean, has lovely beach, quiet, and big enough to do some satisfying trekking.
